Diploma in Nursing Care Assistant (DNCA) is a 2-year diploma course in which one gets to learn about nursing assistant/aide skills and knowledge. During the course work, students also learn about topics such as Fundamentals of Nursing, Community Diseases, Medical-Surgical Operations etc. Nursing care assistants are also known as nurse aides. They work alongside or under the supervision of qualified nurses (RNs) and Doctors.
